Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Innovation Team, for a Band 7 Project Manager

Innovation operates at a corporate level and spans across the whole organisation. Activities undertaken by the Project Manager will support the shaping, leadership, and implementation of an organisational wide approach for innovation. The post-holder will be supported by the Head of Innovation, who will lead the implementation and monitoring of significant, transformational, and sustainable change that deliver improved benefits and outcomes for our citizens. The post holder will support key innovation programmes/projects that closely align with the organisation's ambitions. These programmes/projects will inform the shape of change needed for organisational transformation.

This post is fixed term/secondment for 24 months due to - meet the needs of the service

Main duties of the job

The Trust is fully committed to the delivery of the objectives of the Future Generations Act and its seven Wellbeing Goals. The Velindre Futures Programme will be aligned to these goals and all objectives and benefits will be mapped to record, assess, and promote our achievements against them.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects and produce the required products, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and loss.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
