An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Trust to join the Corporate Governance Team.
We are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Business Support officer (BSO) to work alongside the Trust's Executive Team to provide comprehensive Business Support to the Executive Director of Nursing, AHP & Health Sciences.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for providing efficient and effective business support to the various demands arising from the Executive Quality & Safety Function. Key responsibilities will include diary management and coordination of meetings, agenda planning, committee work planning, in addition to producing high quality minutes, correspondence, reports and various project support work.
This is an interesting and fast-paced role; the successful applicant will need to demonstrate their ability to manage conflicting priorities, meet deadlines and be able to work using their own initiative.
The successful applicant will be a self-starter; they must have excellent planning and organisational skills and have demonstrable experience in providing comprehensive Business support at Executive or Board level.
The ideal candidate should have a flexible approach to work and proactive approach to work, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be educated to Degree Level or equivalent with relevant experience, and have excellent knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
