The Trust has two distinct divisions, Velindre Cancer Centre (VCC) and the Welsh Blood Service (WBS). Within Digital Services, we work across the Trust offering the successful candidates the opportunity to develop new and exciting skills across a diverse and unique organisation.

The organisation has a highly ambitious plan that sees 'digital' as central to delivering the best possible care to our patients and donors. As a team, we believe that 'digital' done the right way, can be a catalyst for real service transformation.

Our transformation journey will see the digital enablement programme deliver new and innovate ways to interact and connect with our patients, donors, families and carers. Patient facing records and 'Apps' will be implemented to support co-production, enabling patients to be an equal partner when planning their care. We also seek to maximise the benefits of Office 365 across the organisation supporting the creation of digitally enabled workforce in preparation for the new Velindre Cancer Centre and beyond.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking to appoint highly skilled, enthusiastic and people-focused business analysts. Previous experience of working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing digital health environment fundamental. Demonstrable understanding and experience of operating within the full life-cycle of a project/programme and in business change, will be essential. You must be an outstanding communicator, an effective negotiator, with excellent stakeholder management skills.

VUNHST Digital Services is seeking to recruit two Business Analysts to join our fantastic team. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in new and exciting programmes of work.

These programmes will be instrumental in enabling improved cancer care, treatment and outcomes for patients and families throughout SEW and beyond.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

This post is fixed term for 24 months due to meet the needs of the service
