Due to our NA completing the RNDA course Barnstaple Community Nursing Team are looking for a Band 4 Nursing associate.

This role will allow you to support the management of a delegated caseload within the Community Nursing Team providing high quality and complex care management to patients in their own homes, with the guidance and support of an experienced Community Nurse Team Leader. The post holder will ensure high standards of care are delivered to patients and their families/carers within the home or clinic environment. This includes liaising with staff, patient/carers and other agencies/organisations as required to ensure appropriate delegation of duties and risk management, whilst ensuring effective communication between those involved in the care package. Barnstaple Community Nursing Team have a wide-ranging nursing skill mix and pride themselves on supporting professional development and improving high standards of community practice in line with current health policy. We would be committed to ensure you achieve the necessary competencies to work in the community and fully support you as you transition.

Newly qualified NA would also be welcome to apply.

This is a permanent full-time position working 37.5 hours per week including some bank holidays and weekends, we can also offer part time positions following discussion.

A full driving licence and a vehicle are essential for this role.

Working Pattern: Monday- Friday 9-5 approx. 1 weekend in 5
