The NHS Walk-in Centre hosts two NHS services, Devon Sexual Health & the NHS Walk-in Centre service. As Domestic Services Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless approach to the provision of housekeeping services including the delivery of cleaning for both environment and patient equipment, as well as coordinating minor building maintenance, stock control for clinical and non-clinical supplies via UNIT4, including those for the South West Norse cleaning company and other specific tasks to promote a safe & welcoming environment for our patients, staff & visitors.

You will provide a high quality, responsive & efficient patient support service ensuring we comply with required NHS Standards for Infection Prevention & Control (IPC), Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the National Specification for Cleanliness in the NHS.

Excellent communication skills, and a caring & professional manner are essential for the role, as well as the ability to work well as part of a team.

Some flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the service & to reflect our building opening hours.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
