Join our NHS Finance team as a Finance Analyst.

Youll be working in a team to support key financial operations across the Medicine Care Group. Based in either Exeter or Barnstaple, you will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, contributing to the smooth running of financial systems, and supporting the broader finance team in achieving its goals. As a Finance Analyst, you will be part of a team working under the Finance Directorate, supporting the Medicine Care Group in various accounting and financial tasks. Working with the Finance Business Partner, your key responsibilities will include:

Producing monthly financial reports and financial forecasts in close liaison with Care Group Managers with the aim of providing accurate year to date and year end projections.
Providing timely, high quality financial information to operational and clinical staff.
Communicating with senior leaders, providing expert advice, guidance and challenge on financial matters.
Supporting the annual financial planning process which includes business case development and developing saving plans.
Completing internal and national reporting requirements.

As a part-qualified accountant or with equivalent experience, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical skills, and be adept at handling multiple responsibilities and deadlines.

Location: You will be based at either Newcourt House in Exeter or Devonshire House in Barnstaple (whichever you prefer) but may be required to travel between sites as needed. We work in a hybrid office environment with a minimum of two days in the office.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday (Normal office hours)
