As the Support Manager, you will be the cornerstone of ensuring that the change management and communication strategies are not only envisioned but executed with precision and empathy. This role is about more than just supporting transitions; its about leading from the middle, ensuring that every piece of the puzzle fits perfectly, facilitating seamless communication and fostering an environment of continuous learning and adaptation. You will be directly involved in developing and delivering training that prepares the workforce for tomorrow, making key contributions to policy and process documentation that underpin the operational backbone of the NHS in Devon.

This position offers the opportunity to impact healthcare on a significant scale, embedding new digital tools and practices that enhance employee engagement and patient care. Your work will ensure that the strategic initiatives of the People Digital Programme translate into tangible benefits for both the staff and the community they serve. IMPORTANT INFORMATION!

  • We are looking for a people who can hit the ground running from initial planning of the work programme to completion of the first full year. In order to support the project delivery timeline, the project must commence promptly and within 4 weeks of successful interview.
  • The initial phase consists of temporary project positions and as the project progresses, permanent roles will be made available later in the project.
  • The positions for the project will be hosted by the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
  • For all positions, we require start dates of no later than early June 2024.
  • For those already employed by the NHS in Devon, if you are interested, it is essential that before you apply, you discuss and agree your availability with your current line manager and seek agreement to be released within a 4 week period from the date of appointment.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, up to 37.5 hours per week

Location: Whilst the location of this role is listed as Exeter, this role supports remote working. However it is anticipated that you will be required to attend sites in Devon, as required.
