Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a static Orthopaedic Specialist Physiotherapist to work at North Devon District Hospital. The post is rotational across all areas of Orthopaedics including elective surgery, trauma in-patients, and Orthopaedic Supported Discharge team (Community) which gives a unique opportunity to follow patients with a Femoral fracture through the whole pathway. The service provides hydrotherapy and out-patient gym classes.
You would be part of a well-established Orthopaedic Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy team who have a forward-thinking approach to Healthcare and Rehabilitation. We encourage regular contributions to service developments through quality improvement projects, audits or research and participation in regular in-service training sessions as part of continuing professional development. Part of this role involves supporting junior staff, students and therapy support workers through supervision, mentorship and wellbeing support.
