An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic Service Manager to join our Specialist Services Division. The post requires vision, innovation and the ability to work with clinical teams and across professional boundaries, underpinned by a real desire to provide the highest standards of patient care. The post holder will provide comprehensive operational, change management and strategic support.

The post holder will be a key member of the Salaried Dental Service (SDS) Senior Management Team (SMT) and will provide strong, visible leadership. They will have a range of responsibilities supporting the clinical and wider management team to include:

• The day-to-day operational management of the SDS
• Ensuring all performance targets are achieved within budget
• Working with and supporting the SDS Lead Dentist and Senior Dental Nurses Managers in the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective patient care
• Providing line management and managerial leadership
• Responsible for Speciality Budgets within the area of responsibility.

Experience of patient pathways and waiting list management would be beneficial. You will work with the clinical team to develop and streamline processes to ensure key performance indicators are met, as well as providing excellent customer service to our patients. The post holder will have previous management experience, ideally within a Healthcare setting.

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills who is positive with a can-do attitude. You will be solution focused and have the ability to effect change.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday , 9:00 - 17:00
