Job summary
- Provide a proactive and professional welcome to the Ward reception, acting as the public face for the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Sidmouth Hospital.
- Deliver an efficient Administrative and Clerical service to the Ward team.
- Maintain effective communication to both patients, relatives and staff in order to ensure the smooth running of the Ward; enhancing patient care.
- Ensure all information is secure and confidentiality of information is maintained at all times.
- Provide excellent customer care which may include communication with distressed and anxious patients and relatives, treating them with tact and empathy.
- Ensure the professional image of the Trust is maintained at all times
