Job summary

We are looking for a dynamic senior leader, with extensive experience within primary care, to join and lead Castle Place Practice.

Castle Place Practice is part of an integrated acute and community Trust, and is a busy GP practice with a patient list of around 14,000, and benefits from a strong multidisciplinary team of GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Practice Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Health Care Assistants, Physiotherapists, Paramedics and Mental Health Practitioners. The standout quality of this practice is its friendly and supportive nature to achieve excellent patient centred pathways, and the strong leadership of the Practice Manager is key to this. Being the voice of primary care in a large acute and community Trust will be a fantastic opportunity to foster innovation with good access to a diverse group of clinicians.

Working closely with the Operations Manager and clinical teams, the successful candidate will ensure that the practice delivers high quality and accessible care for patients. As well as the local leadership of the practice, the Practice Manager will be integral to drive the benefits of vertical integration along with other senior clinicians and managers in the practice and wider Trust.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and experience within primary care. Clinical governance is an important part of the role and the successful candidate will have the benefit of working with a strong and experienced governance team to enable the practice to meet the highest regulatory and clinical standards. Working with all teams to engender a just and learning culture will be important for the successful candidate.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 09:00- 17:00
