We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, innovative, and progressive Consultant to join our Trauma and Orthopaedics Consultant team. The appointee will be based at North Devon District Hospital taking a place on a 1:8 general trauma rota and have a lower limb sub specialist interest that complements the department. Applications are welcomed from candidates with FRCS (or equivalent) who are on the GMCs Specialist Register in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery or who will be within six months of obtaining their CCT at the time of interview. In addition, applicants should demonstrate within their application that they are full trained in the generality of Trauma and Orthopaedics, can manage an unselected general trauma take and have the relevant training and experience in their chosen lower limb sub speciality.
