Having successfully recruited two new medical oncology colleagues we are looking for new clinical oncologists in view of future planned retirements and expansion. You will join an enthusiastic and cohesive team of 19 Consultants providing a full range of non-surgical cancer therapies to our local population. We are looking for colleagues to complement existing staff specialities and there is flexibility for full-time and part-time working. We are particularly looking for neuro-oncology, gynae-oncology (including brachytherapy), uro-oncology, hepato-biliary and skin but there is flexibility around tumour sites.

The jobs will be based at Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital but may have a sessional commitment at North Devon District Hospital. There is potential for further developing teaching and research links with Exeter University at undergraduate and post graduate levels as well as contributing to the expanding Peninsula Medical and Clinical Oncology training programme.

The hospital is situated in central Exeter. This historic city is well served by rail, road and air links. There are a number of Good to Outstanding Ofsted-rated local schools and the Trust has an on-site Ofsted graded Outstanding Nursery and holiday play scheme.

Applicants must be registered medical practitioners and either be on the Specialist Register, or be within 6 months of completion of specialist training at the date of interview.
