SARC Bussiness Support Administrator

Job summary

We are looking for a Band 3 Business Support Administrator to join a small team who deliver high standards of care to people who have recently experienced rape or sexual assault. Treetops Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) provides support, advice and forensic medical examination services for people who have experienced sexual assault and rape throughout Hampshire and the Isle of Wight (IoW). The Treetops SARC service is currently based in Cosham, Portsmouth. The SARC is open 24/7, 365(6) days a year and is staffed by on-call crisis workers and sexual offence examiners.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the SARC Quality Manager and wider team at Hampshire & IOW SARC. They will be required to effectively prioritise and manage their own workload as necessary, whilst maintaining confidentiality and diplomacy at all times, both independently or as part of a team. They will be expected to work without direct supervision and show extensive use of initiative in prioritising and making decisions in relation to effectively supporting the smooth progress of the UKAS project of accreditation of the SARC. The must carry out other duties as necessary to meet the changing needs of Solent NHS Trust, in accordance with management requirements and appropriate to banding. All duties will be carried out within the Trusts Information Governance, recording, and data sharing procedures and guidance
