Job summary
The position of Clinical Team Lead in the Single Point of Access (SPA) team is a dynamic role. The successful candidate will be a collaborative lead who is passionate about delivering positive outcomes for CYP. They will be knowledgeable about clinical aspects of specialist CAMHs and have experience of delivering interventions within CYP MH services.
Our Solent CAMH Service is a specialist mental health service that works alongside children aged 0-18 and their families to address their mental health needs and improve their day to day lives. The successful candidate will based in the vibrant and dynamic city of Portsmouth. The service serves a socially and economically diverse population. It benefits from strong working relationships across many agencies and regional areas. Solent CAMHS pride ourselves in fostering a collaborative approach with our partners and families to children's social, emotional and mental health needs.
The service is made up of a variety of professionals and disciplines which support our holistic approach. These professionals are aligned to several teams within the service that work closely together and share knowledge and skill to meet the needs of our young people and their families, as well as foster a culture of learning and improvement. We are an innovative CAMHS team that value's and supports staff development and wellbeing, and all share a passion for building resilience in our community and responding to the mental health needs of our service users.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical team lead will be positioned to provide strong clinical leadership for the CAMHS SPA Team, ensuring through evidence evidence-based practice the team continuously contribute to improvement of the quality and shape of responsive services. They hold responsibility for monitoring and ensuring maintenance of standards of care that support safe high quality practice through an episode of care. They promote the emotional and mental wellbeing of children and young people by developing skills within community-based settings and by providing early intervention. The role has four key themes: Consultation, Liaison, Supervision, Training and Direct Clinical Work. There are three additional leadership roles: Operational Leadership, Financial and Strategic.
