Exciting clinical leadership opportunity supporting children and young people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism.
Southampton Children's Learning Disability and Autism team (Jigsaw Team) are looking to recruit a Team Manager to support this growing service!
This is an exciting time for the Jigsaw team. We are a team that is aligned, and based within, with the Children with Disabilities Social Work team in Southampton City Council and we have received new investment to grow our existing service that supports children with Learning Disability to also offer support to children with Neurodiversity/ Autism needs.
We are looking for an enthusiastic clinician with experience of working with people with Autism and/or Learning Disabilities. You will be looking for a post that allows you to innovate and grow and develop a service within a structure that provides support from across education, health and social care.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will work alongside and support the management of a team of nurses and allied health professionals. The Jigsaw team as a whole sits within the CAMHS directorate of Solent NHS Trust and so there are strong links with the wider mental health teams in the Trust as well as with physical health services.
We welcome applications from a range of registered professional bodies including (but not exclusive to) Nursing and Clinical Psychology. Applicants will require professional registration with a statutory body: The Nursing Midwifery Council, Health professional's council, BABCP, ACP or UKCP.
