Solent NHS Trust

Job summary
Make a difference with us.
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for early help and intervention? Do you believe in bringing strong evidence based interventions in at the earliest stage of service delivery?
If you are looking for somewhere you can make a real difference and are passionate about keeping children and young people at the heart of what you do then a career with us may be just what you're looking for. At Solent NHS Trust, we strive to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of our communities.
Our early help service supports children and families when challenges first emerge to avoid the need for more complex interventions later on. We build on families strengths to resolve their own difficulties and prevent further problems emerging. We have three teams in Southampton who work out of community hubs to bring early intervention in neurodevelopmental issues to local communities in the most accessible and responsive way. The three teams consist of a range of professionals including social workers, health visitors, school nurses and family support workers.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for Clinical Leads to join our team as we expand and develop our neurodiversity pathways. We are looking for colleagues who have experience in working, and leading, within child and adolescent mental health services and with an absolute passion for early intervention and prevention within a multi-agency environment.
Our prime focus in these roles is in bringing Emotional Coping Skills and Positive Behaviour Approaches into the core work of the early intervention and prevention team and as such we are looking for colleagues with the relevant experience and qualifications in these areas.
You will be linked to the wider Solent NHS CAMH Structure for ongoing professional development and support. The CAMHS team is a strong and supportive team and has excellent structures to offer regular supervision. You will be working alongside an established clinical leadership team at an important time in our development. It really is an exciting time to be joining us as we push forward with implementing new ways of working in order to best meet the needs of the population we work with.
