Job summary
The post holder will support the Prostate Cancer Team across UHB and be part of a wider Uro-Oncology Team. The Prostate Cancer team delivers care across Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Solihull and Good Hope Hospitals and it would be expected the successful candidate would be present on all of these sites across there working week.
The post holder will be supported by a dedicated team of robotic prostate surgeons as well as a well-established prostate CNS team.
The successful post holder should be fully competent to provide LATP biopsies.
The successful post holder will also be expected to triage and provide independent biopsies as well developing the wider Urology CNS team to progress into this role. The role will be key in the delivery of Nurse Led Diagnostics in the UHB Prostate Cancer Pathway.
The successful post holder will be expected to foster and maintain relationships across the wider MDT partaking in regular MDT discussions to improve the patient journey.
