About the Role
Ward 8 and Ward 10 at Good Hope Hospital are looking for caring, compassionate and dynamic individuals to join our teams as Healthcare Support Workers.
We are seeking people with a passion for delivering high standards of patient-centred care, with a particular interest in the specialities of diabetes, endocrine and general medicine. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will work under the supervision of registered healthcare professionals, assisting in providing safe, effective and compassionate care to our patients.

Main duties of the job
Responsibilities include:
- Personal care: washing, dressing and aiding patients with hydration and nutrition, assisting patients to transfer and mobilise.
- Clinical support: taking observations, completing ECG's
- Enviromental tasks: making beds, restocking and cleaning areas and equipment
- Communication and escalation: alerting nursing staff or patient changes and assisting in daily operations.
