Job summary

Comprising 4 acute hospital sites (Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull), a range of community services and Birmingham Chest Clinic; the Trust also runs several smaller 'satellite' units ensuring patients can be treated closer to home.
We are currently seeking to employ a Receipts and Distribution Operative to join a well-established team to undertake all operational duties associated with ordering medical and non-medical goods at the Good Hope site. The post holder will also ensure the goods are delivered to the wards and departments in a timely manner and put away within the agreed location.

Main duties of the job
To receive, inspect and check all goods delivered to the RDP, reporting any discrepancies apparent from associated order copies and delivery receipt or documentation to be marked accordingly. To order medical stock within a ward environment using the trust standard inventory system and hardware.
To carry out clerical work and computer entry associated with each receipt, posting certified order copy to Finance, as required.
