We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cardiology Audit Project Officer to join our Cardiology department. This role is essential in supporting the delivery of National Cardiology Audit Programme ensuring accurate data collection, validation, and reporting to improve patient outcomes and secure Best Practice Tariffs (BPT).
You will work closely with clinical teams to analyse data, produce reports, and support service improvement initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-impact work within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
Further training will be given to develop your skills in clinical audit and data analysis if required and you will be expected to complete competencies throughout your training and induction period.
Main duties of the job
*Deliver national cardiology audits in line with the National Cardiology Audit Programme.
*Validate and analyse data to support clinical and operational decision-making and service improvement.
*Coordinate Mortality & Morbidity (M&M) meetings and manage RADAR processes.
*Produce clear, insightful reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
*Support the development of audit methodologies, SOPs, and training materials.
