12-month secondment -- 37.5 hrs Monday -- Friday

Are you an experienced registered nurse with a strong clinical background and a keen interest in training and education. Do you have a passion for delivering and promoting excellent standards of care for patients.

An exciting 12-month secondment opportunity has arisen to work full time within the Vulnerabilities Team as a Band 6 Clinical Educator focusing on Enhanced Therapeutic observation of Care (ETOC).

The post holder will be expected to work across Sites with clinical colleagues to develop and embed good practice, provide teaching and education. You must have recent Acute experience and understand the ETOC process and its application in practice

We are looking for an experienced individual who is enthusiastic and motivated to join our Team to support the delivery of the ETOC training programme. You should have a genuine interest in education and developing others with a desire to develop your own teaching skills.

This post requires the successful applicant to be self-motivated, with excellent organisational skills, a strong team working ethic and evidence of continuing professional development.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will act as a professional role model and support the clinical workforce within clinical practice, delivering the ETOC training Programme and providing the necessary support in practice to ensure patients are treated with dignity and that their needs are met in a timely therapeutic and engaging manner.

Additionally support and contribute to the delivery of the ETOC action plan, ensuring compliance to policies and procedures to maintain high quality patient care.

The post holder will and use their knowledge, skills and experience to plan organise and deliver quality training, on a range of subjects pertinent to ETOC. The post holder will ensure the evaluation and audit of education and training package.
