Our Teams in ED at GHH, BHH & QE are united in bringing quality care to the people and communities within Birmingham and Solihull, especially those with Mental Health Conditions.
To do this we need like-minded, dual Adult and Mental Health RN's who want to work with us to deliver the very best care to our patients. The rest we can support you with. We are currently recruiting 2 positions to each of the ED's. These positions are suitable for experienced or newly qualifying dual registered Nurses (Please note that newly qualifying Nurses, MUST have their NMC PIN by 30.11.2025). You must be able to work a minimum of 23hrs (BHH) 30hrs (GHH) and 34.5 hrs (QEH).
The post holders will have good communication skills, a professional approach and be committed to working as part of the team, with high standards and a passion for nursing and ensuring patients receive the best clinical care which is supportive, innovative and research driven.
Main duties of the job
You will have dual Registration as an Adult and Mental Health Nurse, supporting patients in the department with Mental Health conditions to ensure they are supported and receive the best and most appropriate care suited to their needs.

- *Evidence of professional and clinical knowledge acquired through training to degree/diploma level leading to Professional registration on the appropriate part of the NMC register i.e. ( Adult / Child / Learning Disability or Mental Health)
- *Evidence of undergraduate education for newly qualified nurses / or post graduate continuing professional development for registered nurses who have post registration experience

- *Previous / recent experience or working in an acute secondary health and care setting (can include undergraduate student placements within the last 12 months)
