Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work across the Dermatology department. We are seeking a dedicated and organised Biologics/Dermatology Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be predominately based at our Solihull site and will play a crucial role in managing patient data, prescriptions, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient biologic treatment delivery along with general administrative duties within the Dermatology department as required.
The post is for 18.75 hours per week.
As well as being part of the busy department, you will be required to prioritise your own workload on a day-to-day basis. Excellent IT and communication skills are essential for this role. Knowledge of UHB Trust IT systems preferable but not essential.
You will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, must be flexible in approach, able to exercise initiative and demonstrate a consistently high standard of professionalism. We would require a strong communicator and dedicated team player.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
*Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication details and treatment plans.
*Clinic Management: booking of all appointments ensuring all clinical are utilised fully and managing the Biologics waiting list.
*Prescription Handling: Collate, verify, and manage biologic prescriptions, ensuring timely delivery to patients.
*Patient Communication: Respond to patient queries regarding their biologic treatment, building trust and ensuring their understanding.
*Liaison: Collaborate with Dermatology consultants, nurses, pharmacists, and homecare companies to facilitate seamless treatment pathways.
*Organisation: Prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
