Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and highly enthusiastic individual to join our busy Cardiology department on a 12 month secondment. The role offers insight to the operational service, working closely senior management team. If you are looking to develop and learn new skills and have a passion for Operations then this is the role for you. We will offer full in house training and support you to develop you to move into an Operational role in the future if you wish.
The role requires a dynamic individual with excellent organisational and communication skills. The role will involve the individual to communicate with a wide range of people at all levels, both internally and externally to the organisation. We are looking for an individual who have has the ability to perform both autonomously and as part of the team. The individual must be able to manage and prioritise a highly demanding, and at times a complex workload, which can require attention to detail and the ability to be able to work under pressure, adhering to very tight deadlines as well as national targets.
You will possess excellent IT skills and be able to provide, receive and process multifaceted data to meet the national targets as well as service demands. You will have a flexible approach to work and be able to adapt quickly to any operational issues and unforeseen challenges, which require immediate and prompt resolution to support the continued smooth running of the services which we offer in Cardiology.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will support Cardiology in delivering to support the day to day operational tasks within Cardiology. We are looking for an individual who can work well under pressure, work to deadlines, good time management skills, attention to detail, can set clear aims and objectives. The candidate will need to be able to deal with heavy demands from a variety of sources. The candidate should have an understanding of the 18 week target as well as RTT knowledge.
