Job summary
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic administrator to join Haemodialysis Satellite Team in the Renal Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
The Post holder will be providing administrative support to the Haemodialysis Satellite CNS's as well as point of contact for the external satellite units. They will be working as part of a team and on a one-to-one basis, they will be able to manage a busy workload, managing clinics and data entry.
The successful candidate will be pro-active, supportive, approachable and demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Main duties of the job
*Providing an efficient and professional administrative service.
*Undertake data input, accurately inputting data using a variety of trust IT systems to meet deadlines.
*Liaise with staff, patients, and external agencies.
*Always maintain confidentiality, adhering to Data protection act, policies, and procedures.
*Organise own day to day work tasks showing an ability to prioritise to achieve set time scales.
*Prepare and scan information onto trust systems.
*Book clinic appointment and manage clinics.
*Able to communicate effectively with others, work collaboratively towards a common goal, compromise and negotiate when necessary and being able to support and encourage others. Flexible and adaptable.
