Main duties of the job

As the Workforce Planning Analyst, you will contribute to the activity of workforce planning and workforce design modelling from establishment reviews and annual operational planning to strategic long-term workforce planning, working with a wide range of clinical, operational, and corporate stakeholders from across the Trust.

To provide technical information and management support to the People Directorate and the wider Operational teams, to collate a wide range of reports for the People Department and Key Stakeholders. The reports need to reflect accurate and precise information taken from various People and Finance systems and databases.

The ability to deal with a high volume of data and achieve consistent high level of accuracy using excellent organisational, time management and working on own initiative is essential to this role.

Essential

  • *Good educational qualifications with GCSE grades 4-9 (A* - C) including Maths and English Language.
  • *Educated to diploma level or NVQ level 4 or the equivalent experience in HR/finance/Information Technology.

Desirable

  • *Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Lv3-5
  • *Strategic Workforce Planning qualification

Experience

Essential

  • *Experience of working in a Personnel background and/or data analysis environment.
  • *Previous experience of undertaking analysis of data to support business decision making using large data sets
  • *Experienced in loading large data files
  • *Experience of Microsoft Office or equivalent.
  • *Experience of using a Reporting or BI services

Desirable

  • *NHS Experience
  • *Electronic Staff Record (ESR) knowledge
