Main duties of the job
As a key member of the Community Services team, you will:
*Conduct medicines optimisation monitoring visits to intermediate care units across Solihull.
*Oversee systems related to the ordering, storage, handling, administration, and disposal of medicines, ensuring adherence to the highest standards.
*Produce detailed reports after each visit, highlighting findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions for care unit managers and the Community Services Pharmacist.
*Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the prescribing support team, BSOL CCG, and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC), to address and resolve any issues identified.
To excel in this role, you will have:
*A nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification and active registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
*An accredited accuracy checking qualification.
*Significant experience within a Pharmacy setting.
*A flexible approach to accommodate service needs, including participation in evening, weekend, and bank holiday rotations.
