Band 5 Senior Coder Remote /Hybrid

29,970 - 36,483 plus 20% RRP (Reviewed annually)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and experienced clinical coding Senior Coder / Team leader, to join our evolving team.

The post holder will demonstrate leadership skills, and ability to help mentor junior staff.

Main duties of the job

You must be able to accurately abstract clinical data from various electronic source documents and assign clinical codes using ICD10 and OPCS 4.10 adhering to national standards and conventions. You must hold the National Clinical Coding Qualification (NCCQ).

You will liaise with divisions, clinical service leads and other coding team leaders to provide the trust with accurate clinical information.
