Band 4 Trainee Contracts Manager - Contracting

Job summary

We are looking for an ambitious candidate to join our dynamic team based 5 minute walk from 5 ways train station. The role offers flexible working hours with the option for hybrid working.

The Post holder will play a key role within the Contracting Team in undertaking a range of functions:

*Supporting the team in the negotiation, production and management of the Trust's Contracts with Commissioners.

*Supporting the team in the negotiation, production and management of the Trust's Service Level Agreements.

*Responsible for securing funding approval for treatments requiring Prior Approval and Individual Funding Requests and maintaining a database of all requests.

*Supporting the Contracts Managers in providing data processing, systems development and analysis of complex and sensitive information and will be expected to report and liaise with Commissioners, GPs and internal Trust Managers and Clinical staff.

*Supporting the Head of Contracting and Contract Managers with administrative functions to ensure the smooth running of the team including:

oManagement of shared inboxes.

oMonitoring of procurement websites.

oDistribution of and Monitoring Feedback from Circulars.

oProduction and Distribution of reports to support the management of Contracts and SLAs.
