Job summary

The University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHBFT) Research Development & Innovation department are committed to the responsible use of data to improve patient care and the population's health and well-being. The Post holder will be working within the Research Data Team responsible for managing a range of projects within the Research Data and West Midlands Secure Data Environment Portfolios.

The successful candidate must demonstrate key project management skills and implement robust recording and monitoring practices. Using their own judgment, the post holder will be able to prioritise their workload effectively.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will organise, accurately record, monitor, and schedule all project work activities relating to the relevant projects. Providing a high-quality service to all external organisations, companies, and staff to ensure that trust wide standards are maintained and monitored to improve the size, quality, and breadth of the portfolio, contributing to improving the health and wealth of the nation.

The post holder is required to work on their own initiative on a regular basis and manage their own workload; this will require excellent planning and organisational skills. The post holder must be able to communicate information to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, i.e., clinical, and operational staff, national bodies, and commercial/project partners.
