Job summary

By 2040, an estimated 5.3 million individuals will face a cancer diagnosis. With an aging population and increasing survival rates, many will live with the long-term consequences of cancer and its treatment. Recognising the need for early intervention, this project focuses on scoping and evaluating the current prehabilitation services in Birmingham and Solihull (BSol), to identify gaps, address disparities, and develop a robust, system-wide model that serves the diverse needs of our community. We are seeking a dedicated project manager to join our team.

Main duties of the job
*Oversee the daily operations of the cancer prehabilitation project.
*Coordinate with the Project Scoping Lead and support the scoping exercise.
*Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
*Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
*Assist in data collection, analysis, and documentation.
*Prepare reports and updates for the project team and stakeholders.
*Proven experience in project management, preferably in healthcare.
*Strong organisational and time management skills.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
*Proficiency in project management tools and software.
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
