Band 2 Housekeeping Assistant

Job summary

Exciting opportunity to join are Housekeeping team at Solihull. We are looking for new staff members who are excited to work within a Healthcare setting, who are compassionate and Kind and want to support a positive difference made to our patients at Solihull Hospital.

with the new Elective Theatre Hub opening its doors soon, we would like to give new recruits the opportunity to join our fast paced, hard working workforce, within the new theatre hub and the main hospital building.

Main duties of the job

we are responsible for cleaning all wards and departments within Solihull Hospital. Our main duties include cleaning patient areas daily, cleaning patient bathrooms daily, ensuring a high standard of care is given, and that the environment for patients meets the national cleaning standard for healthcare environments.

all training will be provided, which will be enhanced training on the use of all cleaning machinery, cleaning equipment and any chemicals used.

New starters will be welcomed in to our existing workforce and will work alongside our experienced staff members who will support and buddy new starters through their journey.
