Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a full time Office Manager within the Pain Management department working cross site based at both Queen Elizabeth and Solihull Hospital. The successful candidate will lead a small and friendly team ensuring they are supported in managing their workload effectively and meeting departmental/trust targets.
We are looking for someone who is proactive and organised with experience in RTT, patient waiting lists and confidence in managing a team. Pain management runs outpatient clinics, MDT clinics and Inpatient ward procedures across 3 sites QE, GHH and Sol and has administration offices in Queen Elizabeth and Solihull Hospital.
As a team leader, you will be responsible for the day to day running of both administration sites, reporting to the Operational Team.
Main duties of the job
Main Duties
*Managing a small team across 2 sites for a service that runs at Queen Elizabeth, Solihull, and Good Hope Hospital
*Liasing with pain management consultants/clinicians
*Organising the workload for the admin team
*Allocate and Payroll
*All HR duties
*Appraisals, 1:1 and team meetings
*Typing and phone duties within both sites
*Setting up rotas for telephone, DNA rates, PBWL
*PALS complaints
*Outstanding outcomes
*Runing the Complex Pain meeting ensuring the patients are discussed and have clear outcomes
*Minuting meeting
*All departmental projects
*Ordering stationary
