Due to the success of the ACP program within our Emergency Directorate at University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB), we are now looking to expand our amazing team. You may be a fully trained ACP or wishing to embark upon a trainee post, either way if you are passionate about emergency care we would love to hear from you! We are a very supportive team of 22 ACP's with a wealth of knowledge and experience to develop and support you in your practice. The post will involve cross site working at Heartlands Hospital and Good Hope Hospital.
We are looking to recruit either a trainee or qualified ACP in adults or paediatrics, to work within the emergency department
Main duties of the job
Trainee / Qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioners (Adult / Paediatric)
Please see attached job descriptions for trainee and qualified ACP posts. Both posts require extensive senior experience (band 6/7 or above) of emergency medicine or a relevant associated speciality.
Successful applicants for a trainee position will undertake a HEE approved MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice commencing October 2024, alongside a clinically based development program. On-going development will be supported by an ED Consultant Educational Supervisor with the expectation of tACPs completing the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) e-portfolio for credentialing.

- * Post Graduate Qualification in specific speciality or equivalent experience

- (must cover all 4 Pillars of advanced clinical practice )-- Portfolio must include evidence of health assessment module at Level 7
