Job summary

A new and exciting opportunity has risen for a Personal assistant to the CDG10A divisional management team. This position is based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

CDG10A is looking to recruit a professional, highly organized personal assistant to the Managing Director, Director of Operations, and other members of the Senior Management Team. As the first point of contact for people engaging with the divisional management team, excellent communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to respond to changing service demands at short notice are essential.

It is desired that the post-holder will have significant experience working as a personal assistant to executive level staff within the NHS or another complex organisation. Experience in diary management, minute taking and a sound working knowledge of the NHS is integral.

Main duties of the job

The candidate will be expected to provide a complete confidential general secretarial service for the department. Be responsible for the organisation and prioritisation of meetings, preparation of agendas and taking of minutes. To organise and prioritise case conferences, seminars and travel arrangements and assume responsibility for the daily management of the team's diary.

All work to be carried out on own initiative, without direct supervision and to tight deadlines, in order to achieve Trust standard and targets. Post holder will need to organise own day-to-day work tasks showing an ability to prioritise in order to achieve set timescales.
