You will support initiatives to set, change and monitor professional and clinical standards and influence the quality of care. The facilitation and influencing of staff across organisational and professional boundaries is a key aspect of this role. You will have the opportunity to work with all specialties, corporate teams and all disciplines of staff.

Main duties of the job

Supporting a number of Trust priorities, key objectives, strategic goals and programmes of work you will work collaboratively with nursing, allied health professionals, health care scientists and Midwifery staff. This will include work such as:

* Exploring, supporting and facilitating change in clinical practices

* Supporting the development of policy, procedures and processes; setting standards

* Supporting the development of expanded practice and new ways of working

* Monitoring clinical care by gathering relevant data through performing audits, observations of care, benchmarking and quality assurance visits

* Providing analysis, interpretation and production of reports

You will work agreed core hours predominantly Monday to Friday and be based in a team office but will be expected to work and travel on all sites and practice settings associated with the Trust.

You will have the essential skills of good communication with all members of the multidisciplinary team; you will be comfortable with challenging and listening to differing opinions.

We would highly recommend arranging an informal visit with the Quality and Clinical Assurance Team to provide you with an opportunity to ask questions and find out more about the role.
