Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established ICT Technical Services Team that serves University Hospitals Birmingham. We are looking for you to use your existing skills, knowledge & extensive enterprise experience to maintain an exemplary IT infrastructure. You will have a focus and responsibility on our developing our emerging cloud presence to provide a robust application environment and a first-class user experience.

Main duties of the job
* Provide effective specialist IT technical knowledge and experience to maintain and enhance the availability and capacity of the IT cloud infrastructure utilised by the Trust which encompasses clinical and non-clinical supporting systems.
* Take direct responsibility, as product champion for research, planning, implementation, configuration, documentation, and training delivery of collaboration solutions within specified time scales and budgetary constraints.
* Take responsibility, as technical project lead, for the planning and delivery of any technical components of medium to large scale projects.

- *IT or Technology degree or equivalent
- *Additional specialist knowledge and or IT industry qualification (e.g., Microsoft or IT specialist certification) acquired whilst employed in an IT role at a large organisation.
Desirable
- *ITIL Foundation or Practitioner
- *Recognised qualifications as a Cloud Specialist and/or equivalent certification
- oMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
