Job summary
HCCD has an exciting apprenticeship opportunity for an aspiring "Trainee Clinical Skills Educator" delivering employability training to our future workforce. We're looking for someone with experience working in a patient-facing role in a clinical environment with an interest in education and training.
Within your role you'll be working on an exciting project called "ICAN" supporting unemployed clients into careers within the NHS. "ICAN" is a collaboration with local authorities, WMCA, the NHS, and other stakeholders and provides job-ready education, training, and pastoral support for prospective job seekers looking for entry and support-level jobs within both clinical and non-clinical settings.
As a trainee educator in the Delivery Team, we're keen to utilize our simulation classroom at the Learning Hub, developing interactive sessions that provide our applicants with an overview of a patient's journey and the roles within this and integrate these within our suite of employability programs.
There will also be the possibility of cross-site working.

Main duties of the job
Duties will include:
Delivery of interactive vocational sessions to groups
Delivery of employability-based sessions to groups
Offering mentoring support to clients who are accessing our training
Completion of relevant paperwork and the update of internal databases in an accurate and timely manner
