Job summary
The Queen Elizabeth Outpatient and Discharge Pharmacy is a busy pharmacy who has grown over the past few years. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Counter Assistant. You will be able to make a huge difference to all our patients who visit the hospital and help us deliver excellent customer service. You will be patient focused and thrive working under pressure and be willing to go the extra mile for a patients. This is a great place to learn and we can support you to start your career in Pharmacy with a wide range of training courses.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for serving customers at the counter. It will help if you've worked in a pharmacy before but don't worry if you haven't as the team will support your development
You will hand out prescriptions already done by dispensary and arrange deliveries for our patients. You will order counter items for the pharmacy and answer phone calls. You will also check prices and stock and keep the premises clean and tidy.
