Job summary

The Podiatry team at Solihull Community Services are looking for an experienced and motivated Band 6 Podiatrist. We welcome applications for those seeking a full or part time position. You will have experience and knowledge of a broad range of Podiatric practice together with a desire to learn and develop your skills further.

The successful candidate will assess patients' Podiatric needs and deliver quality care across the borough of Solihull. We operate out of 6 community clinics and in domiciliary settings. There are opportunities to work alongside our diabetes team lead and specialist vascular podiatrist, undertake wound care clinics and participate in nail surgery rotations. We also work in association with our community based team of podiatric surgeons.

Main duties of the job

Core deliverables: To perform as an autonomous practitioner and as part of the wider team to manage a clinical caseload of community podiatry patients. To undertake the assessment and treatment of patients who often have complex and/or chronic presentations, including active wounds. Taking a proactive and decisive role in order to determine diagnosis, differential diagnosis, prognosis and optimal podiatric management for new and established patients. the ability to travel across the borough of Solihull is essential.
