Are you an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physiotherapist (PT) with a passion for education? Do you want to be at the heart of the development of the future workforce in healthcare? We are offering the opportunity to be part of leading an innovative student education model which is new for Therapies at UHB. Join us in creating a dynamic, interdisciplinary, and high-quality learning environment for students at the Good Hope Hospital site.
We are developing an interdisciplinary student-led clinical learning environment (SLCLE) on ward 12 at Good Hope, where students of all disciplines will take active responsibility for organising and delivering patient care, supported by practice supervisors and educators. The model has been successfully piloted at Solihull Hospital and this fixed-term full time post will support expansion. The SLCLE model is a unique opportunity to enrich the quality of students' learning by focusing on enhancing confidence through coaching, clinical competency development, supervision, teaching, and assessment. The SLCLE aims to create a culture of excellence in education, leadership, learning, teaching, and pastoral support, impacting positively on the outcomes of students and patient care.
