Job summary

Heartbeat Primary Care CIC have recently formed a General Practice Urgent Care Hub and are looking for an ANP to support facilitate the contract. The successful ANP will work across local practices in the Hambleton PCN area (Bedale, Northallerton, Stokesley/Great Ayton).

The service is open 12 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday between 2.00pm-6.00pm.

We would welcome applications for specific shifts/days or the full 12 hours.

This is a fixed term contract until 31 March 2026.

Main duties of the job

To provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients as well as providing nursing assistance to the doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team. The duties will include all tasks normally undertaken by an experienced ANP and in addition any roles agreed between Heartbeat Primary Care CIC and local doctors as appropriate, having regard to current training.

Heartbeat Primary Care CIC is a GP federation servicing 16 practices across the localities of Hambleton and Richmondshire . It was formed in 2014 to facilitate and encourage joint working between practices and with other partners. It has forged close working relationships with all member practices across the locality and continue to support the development of relationships across primary care.
