Looking for a role where your impact truly matters? Join our dynamic Community Paediatric team in Bromley--one of London's greenest, most family-friendly boroughs, with excellent schools, strong transport links, and easy access to central London and Kent.

We are seeking a motivated Consultant to help deliver high-quality care for children and families. You'll join an experienced, supportive team providing a full range of community paediatric services, with a focus on neurodevelopment, child development, and safeguarding.

This role offers variety and flexibility. You'll primarily manage neurodevelopmental referrals and health assessments for Children Looked After, with scope to shape your job plan around your specialist interests. You will also contribute to child protection work (physical abuse only) and work closely with multidisciplinary teams including CAMHS, GPs, and allied professionals.

Based at Phoenix Children's Resource Centre, you'll also work across community sites in Bromley. With rising demand in ASD, ADHD, and complex neurodisability, you'll help drive service innovation and improve access for families.

No on-call commitments. Part-time (7.5 PAs), with flexibility for full or less-than-full-time applicants.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be mainly expected to see referrals with neuro-developmental concerns but there would be flexibility in the job plan to accommodate candidate's other special interests.

The post holder will be required to do child protection work pro-rata (physical abuse only).

The post does not have out-of-hours on-call commitments. This is a part time (7.5 PAs) post, but we would welcome applicants who might wish to work full time or less than full time, as the need arises.

Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for full details of duties and responsibilities attached to this job role.
