Your role will encompass completing complex assessment and treatment plans, developing and leading group education and treatment, and Occupational & physiotherapy service development. The post will primarily involve working with elderly patients and their families with a focus on goal-orientated discharge planning within their homes.

Interviews expected to be held on the 3rd and 4th June 2025.

We offer both full and part-time roles, providing 7-day service coverage across Bromley.

Main duties of the job

The individual in this position is responsible for safeguarding children, young people, and adults at risk. They will receive training at the appropriate level based on their role.

In this rewarding role, you'll support adults in their own homes, care homes and remotely, managing complex cases and creating meaningful, person-centred intervention plans to reduce the impact of disability and ill health.

The successful applicant will be supported and upskilled to gain experience in a leadership role to include the following responsibilities;

  • Complex clinical assessments - Moving and Handling and seating specific assessments. Equipment provision and comprehensive Moving and Handling risk assessments and handovers.

  • Supervision of junior staffRehab assistants,PTs and OTs.

  • Individual caseload management and supervision of team caseload management.

  • Completing return to work and managing sickness as per policy.

  • Carrying out detailed and timely appraisals in keeping with KPIs

  • Lead on therapy input in the weekly MDT and caseload workshops.

  • The post holder will be expected to streamline processes to support efficiency within the Integrated Therapy Service.

  • Service development; a review of current occupational therapy services and an innovative approach to developing new aspects of the service.

  • Lead on competency training for Rehab assistants and therapy staff.

  • Completing Audits

  • Supporting patient allocations with the admin team and reviewing new patients in the service.
