Full Time 37.5 hrs per week

Service Lead Public Health Nursing - Greenwich 0 to 4

Bromley Healthcare provides public health nursing services in the London boroughs of Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley and is recruiting for the Service Lead in the London Borough of Greenwich as a fixed term for 12 months. We are looking for a highly motivated dynamic SCPHN (School Nursing or Health Visiting) who has significant experience working with children and families and leading and managing teams.

The post holder will work closely with the Head of Public Health Nursing to both integrate and transform the 0 to 19 services in Bromley and Bexley and the 0 to 4 service in Greenwich. You will have responsibility for the operational leadership and management of the public health nursing service and contribute to the strategic vision and direction of the service in line with Bromley Healthcare's strategic priorities, South East London Integrated Care System, and national policy and directives.

The key priority areas that we are transforming include improving the quality of the service, involving parents and young people in shaping the services, developing the workforce, and creating sustainable practices. There is an emphasis on developing leadership within the organisation and this is evident in the various leadership courses on offer to develop the skills of leaders at all levels of experience.

Responsible for operational management of the 0-4 Childrens Public Health service in Greenwich ensuring a clinically effective and high-quality 0-4 service that uses research-based practice to plan,deliver and evaluate public health nursing interventions.
