Bromley Healthcare - Care at Home are recruiting a driver to join our team of drivers who drive our carers to service users. We support service users in their day-to-day lives, enabling them to live more fulfilling lives whilst helping them remain in their own home by providing high-quality person-centered care, supporting the service user to undertake, a wide range of care needs, taking into account their individual personality and lifestyle choices

We have part-time opportunities available so if you can only work in the evenings or weekends or you would like to discuss shifts that fit around childcare; we would like to hear from you as are open-minded to different shift patterns.

Main duties of the job

Driver - Bromley & Bexley areas - Ad hoc shifts

£11.20 per hour

Bromley Healthcare is a social enterprise, which works with the NHS to provide high quality healthcare services for people in Bromley and beyond. One of the services we provide across the London Borough of Bromley and Bexley is domiciliary car services, including Personal Homecare services and Domestic Housekeeping services.

This role involves driving care workers around the North Kent area of Bromley and Bexley. The post holder must hold a valid current clean drivers licence and is expected to undertake a sight test and a driving assessment before driving Bromley Healthcare's vehicles. You will have access to a company car and you will be expected to be available to work weekday evenings and alternate weekends.

This role will involve contact with members of the public, and a Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as Criminal Records Bureau) check will be required.
