Full-time - 37.5 hours per week
The Band 7 Strengthening Families Supervisor and Programme Evaluator role is a new role which provides supervision to a team of Specialist Strengthening Families Health Visitors, maintains the implementation of the programme and evaluates the impact of its clinical approach on the outcomes for children and their families.
The Strengthening Families Programme provides personalised care for families who need it most.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health Visitor who wishes to build their leadership and management skills whilst delivering evidence-based care to families on specialist and targeted care pathways.
The post holder will provide supervision to a team of strengthening families health visitors, implement, embed and evaluate the programme and its clinical approach, support in the identification, development and delivery of programme training, and provide direct specialist clinical service for children and families with complex and additional needs across Greenwich.

Main duties of the job
This is a demanding role combining clinical practice and service evaluation with a supervisory role, which requires a diverse set of skills and attributes as well as a commitment to the ethos and principles of the programme's clinical approach the Family Partnership Model.
Principle Responsibilities
- To evaluate the impact of the Family Partnership Model in the Greenwich 0 to 4 service
- To provide regular in-depth individual reflective and analytical supervision which is underpinned by the Family Partnership Model to the Strengthening Families Health Visitors
- To deliver a programme of care underpinned by the FPM to a small caseload of vulnerable families
- To chair monthly steering group meetings with key stakeholders
- To provide the Greenwich 0 to 4 Service Lead and steering group with regular updates on the outcome measures
- To work closely with the Children's Safeguarding Team
- To work with others to ensure the engagement of local stakeholders and to ensure an effective pathway for the identification of eligible parents who can be offered the programme.
- To build local relationships with health, social care, community, and children's and young people's services
- Has the ability to research, innovate, educate and demonstrate sound practice

Part of the transformation has been developing new roles for example the Community Staff Nurse and Specialist Health Visitor, and extending the role of the Community Nursery Nurse.
