Job summary

37.5 hours per week. We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled, compassionate and caring nursing associate to join our multi-disciplinary team at Plym Bridge House. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the young people in our care and you will need to be committed to providing care of the highest quality to the young people we support.

Plym Bridge House is a Tier 4 Unit for Children & Young People who are experiencing mental health needs that admission to hospital. including PTSD, Autism, Psychosis, Depression, OCD, Anorexia and other non-specific eating disorders.

Plym Bridge House is a regionally respected team who engages in rewarding work with the young people in our care, and is also part of the South West Provider Collaborative whose aim is to improve the care pathways for young people and keep them closer to home.

Candidates will need to possess excellent communication skills and empathy as you will be working alongside other professionals, families and carers. The successful candidate will work in an established professional MDT team; supporting the clinical team in the delivery of therapeutic programmes and plans of care.

We offer a positive and supportive environment to work in, with in-house bespoke training relating directly to CAMHS and inpatient care.

Main duties of the job

To be responsible for the assessment, planning, treatment and evaluation of a group of patients under the appropriate delegation from a registered practitioner and in close liaison with patient/carer, within the parameters of practice of the Nursing Associate role.

All Livewell Southwest staff are expected to able and willing to work across a 7 day service.
