Is making a difference what drives you? We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse for our 9 bedded, single sex, (Female) in-patient recovery unit.
Greenfields delivers a wide range of interventions and treatments to people experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems. Greenfields is a Hospital Unit based at Mount Gould Hospital. We are uniquely placed to offer specialist care to our service users and can offer you a bespoke essential training programme.
We have close working links with our Acute Service and specialist outreach recovery team (SORT) which are the associated pathways to our services.
As a Registered professional you will be required to work shifts across seven days, including night shifts to bring transferrable skills where the aim is to prepare service users for community living.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will aim to promote all aspects of a Recovery ethos within an in-patient setting for people with complex, severe and enduring mental health needs. As a named practitioner you will be responsible for coordinating care to ensure that all aspects of the Care Programme Approach process leads to promotion of positive service user experience and successful outcomes.
The post holder will be required to take charge of the shifts on a regular basis.
The post holder will have the ability to sustain respectful, consistent, and reliable therapeutic relationships with service users, that enhances their ability to build social networks and diminishes their social exclusion, maximise their strengths and interests and increase their participation in meaningful activities.
The post holder will be required to create and maintain a learning environment for the development of junior staff and be able to mentor/educate qualified and unqualified staff, including pre and post registration students. The post holder will also be responsible for their own professional development.
The post holder will always work within the guidelines of their Code of Professional Conduct.
Whilst the post is based at Greenfields there may be an expectation to work within the wider Recovery Service at the request of the Manager according to clinical and/or as part of personal development.
